Kent-Moore J-937 Clutch Gear and Bearing Puller The clutch gear and bearing must be pulled straight out from the case. Slip the puller over the spines on the clutch gear and turn the sleeve up in position on left hand shaft thread. (Puller sleeve has internal left hand thread). This operation brings the bell casting of the puller up against the transmission case. The clutch gear and bearing are then pulled out of the transmission case by turning the large nut with the cross handles against a thrust washer. The application of a little oil or grease on the thrust washer surface permits easier turning. Follow the Service Instructions to replace the gear and bearing — no tool is required. Weight 5 lbs.
